TAKE A MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID CLASS
On Sept 27, 2018 Camryn's mother (Caren Kelly) found her talented 17 year old daughter unresponsive in her bedroom. Camryn had died by suicide. Camryn was a bright light who shared her brilliance with family and friends. She excelled as a student, gifted actress, singer, and was a shining beacon for equality and the environment. Yet we lost Camryn to bipolar depression and anxiety. We started A Fighting Chance Foundation in honor of Cam to fight the war against suicide.
Our goals are to connect parents to critical resources, to overcome parental bias, and fight the stigma surrounding with mental health. Our work includes:
A Mother's Tribute (Caren Kelly)
Your support and contributions will help promote and sponsor Mental Health First training and connect our local community to counseling, peer support and treatment.
